First Person Boxing: Codes, Styles and Controls

First Person Boxing is a first-person boxing game on Roblox. You fight from behind your own gloves: you slip or catch a punch, then answer before your opponent recovers. Set your controls first, because two keys changed on 21 October.

Core loop

How a session runs

Win a real PvP fight and the game hands you a reward spin; bot fights do not count.

The reward can be Coins, Spins, Lucky Spins or an emote.

Walkthrough

What this game actually is

First person from behind your own gloves, and the damage comes from answering rather than opening.

How a defense turns into a counter
  1. You see only your own gloves

The camera sits inside your guard, so reading the incoming punch matters more than what you can see of yourself.

    Set up your controls
  2. Damage comes after a defense

A catch or a slip opens the window; swinging first mostly teaches your opponent to keep the guard up.

    Which defenses open a counter
  3. The ruleset is public and it moves

Six numbered patches in one week changed keys, damage values and style rates.

Updates

What changed this week

The three changes most likely to make an older guide wrong.

Full update log
  1. Gloves moved to Z

G now holds body block, so a guide recorded earlier tells you to press the wrong key.

    Current keybinds
  2. Overhand damage cut to 17.5

It was 19, and it now costs more stamina, so a heavy-hand playstyle trades both damage and gas.

Why repeated heavy hands cost you
  3. Mobile-only servers

Phone and tablet players can choose the mobile pool when joining or switch later in Settings.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does ranked equalize height and weight?

Yes. The 17 Oct patch states ranked fights use the same height, same weight and full stamina for both fighters.

Can I reset my record?

Yes. The Shop has RECORD RESET; the panel shows [49]. The currency unit is inferred from the same panel's RS price labels and has not been purchase-tested.

Is there a tier list?

Not one overall ranking. The developer publishes per-punch catch and dodge rates, which cannot be summed into a single score, so the Styles page compares defenses instead.

Are styles usable in ranked?

The patch only says ranked standardises height, weight and stamina. It does not mention styles; treating that as 'styles still apply' is an inference, not a developer statement.

What changed this week

Six numbered patches landed between 16 and 22 October 2026, and two of them moved a key. Gloves moved from G to Z on 21 October, Overhand damage fell from 19 to 17.5 on 20 October, and mobile-only servers arrived on 22 October. A habit learned from an older guide may now be wrong.
